Since MultiVersus fully launched in May, the game has gone through 3 “seasons,” adding new characters and content around a seasonal battle pass. Season 4 is due to start on November 12, and it will add Raven, a fan-favorite character from Teen Titans, and Marceline, the vampire queen from Adventure Time to the roster of unlockable characters. The update also promises a new team-based competitive mode called Arena and two new maps.
Season 4 details:
- November 12-January 21
- 2 Battle Passes
- 4 themed events, rifts (co-op campaign chapters), and skins
- New feature: Fighter Road
- New mode: Arena
- New characters: Raven and Marceline
- New maps: Back to the Past (Samurai Jack) and Candy Tavern (Adventure Time)
The new characters are both great choices, though a Teen Titans or DC-specific map would have been nice as well. I’m still playing MultiVersus daily, and a big part of that is due to the fun characters and timed events.
