I remember many years ago, after the story reboot, how ‘betrayed’ I felt for having to leave behind all those characters. And I remember how reluctant I was to accept these new versions. But comic by comic, and with how well the story is written, how perfectly the script is integrated into the world, the great pacing, and not resorting to cheap tricks to stretch the story… Every comic that comes out shows me how wrong I was to judge it that way back then.
